#Brunchdategirls go to Taiwan! :D Our first trip together! Happy that we get to go for open classes together, people who are really interested to go with me! :D Also, the fact that we all love food! Think i gained a few kgs after this trip. And the apartment Bev found for us was so pretty! A cosy 2 storey apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 sofa beds, which were more than enough for us. (Jo was my room buddy!) We had to pass by the security every night, so it made me feel safe that strangers can't randomly enter the building. I only wished that the girls love roller coasters as much as me. Bev and Ningz took the best ride together with me while the rest gave that a miss. It was the most scary ride at that amusement park. Hahahaha Sooo awesome! As much as i was screaming, the view is amazing. And i kept telling Wenhui to open her eyes on the swinging chair that turns around. Soooo pretty! Okay, but if it were haunted houses, it will be a different story, because I'm sucha scaredy cat bout those stuff. HAHAHA
Got a shuttle to where we are staying at.
As shown below, the lobby of the building. We can dispose our garbage outside the building beside the tiny garden. on the left is the elevator and security area.
Unpacking before we start our trip because the weather is so hot that i need to get into shorts.
The station near our place. We got the card for train transportation. We got looks when we took the elevator, guess they're only meant for old, pregnant, and/or handicapped people.
Alighted here for Lu Rou Fan. Was pretty good, though i expected more Lu Rou!
But still yummy! Got the tofu and eggs too!
Decided to head to Danshui instead for the rest of the day.
And we got our first bubble tea in Taiwan! :D
Not bad chicken but too many bones I have to keep spitting them out. So troublesome. I like my food bones and seeds free.
We didn't try the above, but there are loads of stalls selling these. Tried something cute looking instead. Hahaha I chose Sandy the squirrel! :D
Found a cat cafe but we're not going in because I'm not a cat person. That statement does not include Hello Kitty. Lol

Took a boat to the lover's bridge.
So pretty~ At first, it was kinda hard because... this place is for couples and lovers, and it kinda reminded me of someone. But still, I'm glad I was there with the girls. :)
Found 2 cute teddies by the corner! So fluffy!

And... got back on the boat to go back to Danshui. Heading to a night market for dinner!

Arrived at Shihlin!
This is da bomb. The cheese is the killer. Although i don't like baked potato but i love the cheese. It's just nacho cheese actually, with a lot of ingredients. Since their corn is sweet, and there is ham, the potato doesn't taste so bland to me.
But i love this even more!!! Got it a second time later on in the trip. :D
Didn't really like the fried milk, tasted kinda bland. But, no harm trying.
This is soooo good too!!! I really love this. It's like prata with egg but I think there's mayo or some kinda sauce inside it that it keeps me wanting more!
This is not bad too with loads of meat and the glutinous rice is sweet. Feels like a "Ba Zhang" to me.
Didn't get this since Ningz don't eat beef but the sizzling sound is sooo tempting.
This is really smelly. Very smelly. But it tastes better than the one in Hong Kong. The sauce is good with the tofu. But there's kinda a sour after taste. I think it's meant to be like this but the tofu i ate in Hong Kong tasted more sour.
They have loads of such shops around the night market but i didn't play any this time round.
And... That is the end of day one!
Finally got down to typing out my life and the happy memories. :D Have been pretty caught up with work initially and eventually holidays. Happy that i got to travel more this year while I can. But reality is finally dawning on me that i need to get a job and i have no idea where i wanna go. Sighs. Adulthood is scary. I'm scared of and for my future. Every choice i make, i have to bear with the consequences if they don't turn out to be what i had expected.
Now, i might sleep or edit another post. Looking forward to a week full or exercise and also the actual day for my job event is finally here!
