Food galore. Finally found the time to relax and chill with my friends after studying for a few months. I can finally enjoy in peace, and also to get out for some fresh air. The challenge comes when I am free to do anything i want and a lot of time to think. Think positive, act wisely. Also, my Taiwan trip with the Brunchdategirls! Our first trip together! :D And my first big break ever since last Bangkok, and those are memories i want to leave behind. Trying to move forward with my life with all my happy pills. I'm glad i agreed to go on the trip! Also, work! To pay off my trips, and save as much as i can! Falling behind on my resolutions this year, and it's September now, as I'm typing this out. D:
And got to meet the guys since everyone is free from exams, we made it to Zhi Char! No idea why we ordered so much Tofu. The guys sure love Aunties Tofu. :X
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAN! Missed out on Aa's birthday last year and he sure hasn't make me forget it one bit! Made sure that i made it down this year for sure! :D
Cool girl Nat! :D Happy to have made a friend although I'll prolly only get to see her at Aa's events.
No idea why Doughnut is being so retarded, as usual, LOL.
And I'm representing the team since they're mostly overseas!
And of course, how can we miss supper. And with them guys, we made sure we have extra food, with no wastage. YUM!
A random and happy Wednesday for us! Look how happy we are! :D And dinner the next day at skinny pizza without our pizza. :P Bangers and mash for me.
Brunch with my first ever few friends i made in secondary 1. A tiny reunion after not seeing each other for ages, and catching up on our lives. And also grateful for their concern about my progress. :) Five and Dime again. Mentaiko pasta, katsu burger something and egg benny (i think)!
Desserts and cute coffee art!
Trying to be touristy. :P
Random dinner with them girls and Xun at Nam Nam, and drinks after! Happy Friday! :D
Have been seeing this girl so often. Thanks for being my Saturdates and whenever other dates. :>
Finally! Adventure Cove!!! Have been wanting to go in a while!!! And we got the tickets at $20!!! Is that cheap or what?! SO HAPPY! Was really eggcited to go! Too bad the rides weren't suuuper eggciting, but the company was awesome! Our uneven number of people meant we had to take turns being alone. But mostly, it was the guys. Gentlemen. :D
Tourist shot! :D And getting our stuff in the lockers.
Okay, that's the end because phones and cameras weren't waterproof. Love the magnetic sliding ride! I really screamed. I thought i was about to flew off. The scary thing is that there were no seat belts or handles like roller coasters. It's just me and the float, and my partner's legs(or hairy legs) "kiaping" my armpits. Hahahaha
Another one of those Happy Fridays. And this Friday, was pretty epic. I unknowingly made everyone drank so much more when i changed the order of one bucket to four buckets. HAHAHA It was a miscommunication, i swear! And thanks for
delivering food for me! :P I finally got to try the legendary Shiok Maki
since i can't make it because i need to work.
Made macaroons with my silly friends! And brought them home! I doubt i remember how to make them now since i don't have an oven. But i still vaguely remember. It's sweet and not as awesome as lauduree's but it was successful! :D And they look pretty! Also, wearing coloured contact lens for the first time that day!
TA-DAH! :D
Dinner treat with my extended family at Sushi Tei! Feasting time! :D So... This was the "Kids" table. And adults... you can't sit with us. Hahaha :X
Random karaoke night! :D And my voice was sooooo outta tune but i just wanna sing all the wayyyy! Partly, because i can't sing well, and also i was coughing. :P
Our Happy Wednesday session! Epic night! Couldn't stop laughing at the stuff we did the next day! N SHIT! We look so happy! We feel happy! We drink happy! LOL :D
Random dinner with my cousins because i had to fetch little cousin and we headed for dinner at Sushi Tei. Loooove the sashimi salad although I'm not much of a salad person. And the potato croquette!
Happy that i decided to attend Summer School despite it being crazy expensive. Honestly, it's a privilege to have passion. So much money that i can feel my heart bleed as my i pay. But the experience was definitely worth it since it's the first ever Summer school here! And it's my first time dancing for such long hours over one week and even a small performance after. Was selected for a tiny solo as Queen of the Wilis, Myrtha (although it may have been slightly unfair because majority of the people in class are my own classmates but thanks for giving me this opportunity!) , and i really did the best and as convincing as i could! (Although i was pretty upset that my parents decided not to come watch me :( Opportunities like these don't come twice or more :(.) Anyway, my favourite performance was Giselle's Act Two! So sweet! And it's the first time I'm performing something really classical. It was suppose to be on pointe, but it was much too fast for us to do it :(, otherwise, we would have been in the company right... Nevertheless, i think i improved during this short period of time with their pointers and knowing what to improve on now, will make me more alert to certain things that i have to watch out for. Also, seeing the other dancers with their fantastic strength and amazing height makes me want to improve so much more! Their passion for dancing drives me nuts too. Seeing them, i feel like I'm too lazy. Even ladies so much older are so excited for class and they still have that burning passion in them to go for it that i tend to ask myself, "what the heck am i doing?". It was definitely an eye opener to the kind of dancers that exist. Things to learn, and not. I loved it. :)
Tried Mad for Garlic after Summer school. The food was normal for the price. A little small on the portion for my forever hungry tummy.
Performance day! :D Got up super early and headed to friend's place to do my make up.
And my cousin who came to watch! :D Always nice to have someone watching you. It makes me feel like I'm dancing for someone and i have to do my bestest best for them and that all my effort that I've put in, all those long hours, sweat and pain, like it finally paid off, and it's worth it.
And brunch after at Din Tai Fung! Sumptuous! I love fried rice with egg and prawn and all that Xiao Long Bao! :D
It's been years and i can't go a week without seeing you guys. It just doesn't feel right. :)
And we finally got to try the Korean food store opposite our studio, but it wasn't awesome. I see many Koreans eat there and i thought it was authentic, but it lacked a "pop" for me. Pretty upset that the side dish were not refillable because they normally are, in Korean restaurants.
WORK! And Aachoo pop by! Made him take a picture with me at the photo booth. Wahahaha And he said that i dressed like the office lady who will seduce their boss. LOL I don't have corporate outfits okay. My wardrobe is filled with shorts and clothes for school or chill out nights!
Managed to catch brunch with them office ladies at Ronin. The scrambled eggs were good, but still, not my cup of eggs. I like em poached or fried or anything but scrambled. The coffee is awesome though. Some great caffeine right there.
Caught a double bill. Awesome. Their breathing and synchronisation, makes me want to dance so much more. It's always the case. A good piece motivates me and injects life into me for my passion.
Brunchdategirls meet again! For Wenhui's birthday at Spathe and Vanilla. At Vanilla, we wanted to discuss our plans for our Taiwan trip and ordered creme brulee and moist lava cake. which were really good.
Trying to pose but failed. Haha
And at Spathe's,
we ordered truffle fries, pork belly (i think), some tomato pasta with
mozzarella, can't remember what waffles those are, but it was good! I
love it! But not their prices.
Went to watch TRDO and the other Brunchdatesgirls perform. Love the energy and techniques by some groups. Felt like the soloists were in their thing but it felt pretty common. There were some pretty tight competition this year, a good show!
Also, celebrated DaddyJo's birthday! :D Also, supper with the gang again! I miss them so much! We get to hang out so much less now. :(
Don't we look so happy!!! :D
And my twinnie banana! I wuv you soooo much! Thanks for being rational with me and for your perspectives and support even though you have much to deal with sometime or all the time. :) I hope i can do the same for you. :)
Happy JO! :D Happy family! :D
And we went for desserts after brunch randomly at cafe La Marelle. Cute raindrops everywhere!
At Sprmrkt again with them. Ate bangers and mash this time round! Soooo good! :D
Finally, the end of my June holidays :D Happy happy June, I love you. Thanks for cheering me up. :D Showing me that i can be happy. :)
Bye~
