Taiwan oh! Of YeLiuShan - JiuFen - ShiFen

Day 5! Second last day of our trip! :< Booked a mini van to take us out for the day. At this point of time, i really can't remember his name already. I'm typing this more than 6 months later! LOL BUT, i do remember his kind gestures in taking super good care of us throughout this whole trip! Definitely adding on the already good impression towards Taiwanese people, that they are super nice! :D So for this post, i shall refer to him as Timmy. LOL

So, we wanted to get breakfast and eat on the way since it would be a long journey! Grabbed some wrap and soya bean milk to drink for the road. Actual Yong He was closed, so, this will do.

Pretty sea view from the car! :D Getting excited already!

Here is first stop! :D We went on this trip on our own as tickets needs to be bought, Timmy will meet us after we're done!

These amazing rock formations has some strange insects or sea creatures crawling about! It was pretty scary! They kinda look like a cross between prawns and cockroaches! Yikes!

Look at all those holes with water! Those sea creatures are plenty in there!! :O

Super scenic spot!

Next, we headed to Jiu Fen! The street with food at almost every single stall. There are 12 must eats and I'm proud to say, we've tried em all! (Includes taste testing. :X) And for this, Timmy will be heading on with us! He said he can guide us on which are the must eats! :D

First up, lunch! We can't wait! Too hungry that we ate at the first stall, but apparently the food inside is way nicer.

This is super good! A definite must eat! I'd prefer this to the same one in ShihLin Night market because of the vegetable that they did not add.

This was not bad as well. But ice cream after ice cream is... a little too much. Hahaha Luck we have 6 mouths to share!

Got this because i really wanted it, but we ended up having toooooo many mushroom stalks which i don't really like either, but it was pretty good with sauce! Though at this point, i was pretty full already.

Passed by a cat shop, yes with cats, and all things catty inside.

Finally reached our main destination! For this soupy dessert! :D And also, a good spot to shield us from the rain that is getting too heavy for us to walk anywhere.

So, Timmy brought us to this little museum! Where people used to watch plays and some stuff for show of how people made movies in the olden days!

There were some props for use, and of course, we gotta act it out! Timmy was the one who was totally encouraging us to go pick up the props! And he kept saying he will take the pictures for us! Hahaha I think it's because he realised that we have been taking pictures non stop throughout the whole street with our food and ourselves. LOL The director and her helper looking for people to act. Hahaha

A freaking sad story! 6 super sad girls! LOL He was even saying we must act sad and all. Giving us cues to act or think out our actions. LOL

And... the acting continues. HAHAHA

Left, for this tiny tunnel along the street heading back to the mini van. It's where people will walk through, like a secret passageway in the olden days, which is now full of messages left by people who walked by.

Wanted to take a picture with the falls! Insisted even with the rain on us. And yet another idea directed by Timmy to pose. LOL

Arrived in Shi Fen! Almost wanted to skip this due to the awful weather though we really wanted to light up our Tian Deng. But as usual, we went on with our plans and wanted to wait it out to see if it is possible! And lucky us, the rain stopped and we saw someone putting theirs! :D

Chose our colourful Tian Deng and went on to write our messages on it, very seriously! This is well wishes for the rest of the year we're talking about!!! Hahaha Though it was a little tough after not having written Chinese in a long time that we had to refer to our phones. Hahahaha And, Timmy took suuuuper a lot of photos for us! Like from left to right angle, top to bottom angle!!! The pictures turned out really nice though from most angles!!! And he kept insisting that we pose too! HAHAHA Even while we were busy writing, he was busy snapping pictures of us carrying out those things. And it was really fun seeing all those pictures while we were so in it! We didn't even know he was taking pictures of us! And he told us to take pictures with the 4 sides of our Tian Deng that we wrote on. LOL

Super pretty photos! And Timmy also took a video of us! Okay, wait, maybe it wasn't Timmy. I remembered that the lady was taking a video or picture of us and Timmy was doing the other. All the pictures and videos look super good and the sky was good too! Though it was somewhat drizzling a tiny bit. We were all pretty shocked that he took sooo many pictures of us after we were done! HAHA Like when we finally can chill a little. We always get a little too busy wanting to snap stuff, or maybe just me. :X

Heard some noise going on and we decided to play some firecrackers!!! The shop owner kept asking which kind we wanted, the one with vibration or not. I really just wanted the one that is nice! LOL Ended up picking the pretty scary kind with vibration a super loud sound but less pretty because i can hold it instead of just leaving it on the floor and running away.

Was told that we can take better pictures by the rainbow bridge but at this time, the rain was pretty heavy and we only had one umbrella! Timmy helped us to light them up and it was pretty dangerous! And he didn't have a brolly! :< So nice of him!!! He didn't want the shelter too because he wanted to help us with the photos as well. Awwwwwww!
Okay, getting a little scared after seeing how the first one works.
But, YAY! So fun!!! But still a little scary each time it vibrates. Hahahahaha

And after this, we wanted to head to RaoHe Night market but since we were all pretty drenched, we went to grab some Lu Rou rice instead. Timmy was telling us to go home and get changed first since we were all drenched and he was afraid that we might catch a cold. Offered tissue to us and all to wipe since the ride home will be cold. Invited him for dinner with us but he turned us down and we kept asking why... Hahaha Like we really wanted to have dinner together since he was really nice to us the whole day!!! And... we found out that he was vegetarian. :/ So, we took a selfie instead! :D

Here at Hu Xu Zhang! Bought a few packets of Lu Rou sauce home to eat! :D And it was super cold here since the air con was blowing at us and our hair and clothes were all wet.

Decided to head home after but upon seeing Yong He still open, and we're already drenched and out for so long, and and it was the last night, why not supper? :D There's always room for supper too. :X

And just chilling and packing up to check out the next day, more Maggie mee. LOL My stomach is an endless pit, on some days. Hahahaha Some of the girls are really amazed at my appetite. LOL And i realised that I'm always saying yes whenever Ningz or WH asks me if i wanna share food. Hahahaha

And, looking at these happy times, i miss Taiwan! :<

Bye~
