Taiwan oh! Of The Coffee Alley - DanceSoul - XiMenDing

Day 4! Didn't bring my camera out, so there were little photos for the day. But, we were doing loads of shopping as well, so... lucky me!

Finally started our cafe hop and we hopped to Coffee Alley! Love the food here, it's really good and worth it. I would say pretty cheap as compared to SG's cafe food. We paid around S$30 for a main, coffee, and also dessert to share! :D Missing this cafe. Simple dishes that taste more than it looks and sound.

Ordered this. Sea salt caramel latte. I really like this! :D It's sweet and has a obvious sea salt taste, plus i love whip cream.
 Tiramisu coffee
 Hazelnut latte
I can't remember what this is.

 White chocolate mocha.
Can't remember too, but i like the meat and sauce together.
Club sandwich which has cheese and mayo taste, really savoury.
Can't remember this as well, but the nacho cheese is to die for with the sweet corn.
This was what i ordered. Toast skagen shrimp salad with potato. Super yummy! I love prawns! Loads of em! And it goes well with the bread. The salad dressing is nice too.
Ningz eyeing on my fooooood! D: And i don't want to share. HAHAHA I ate hers too after that. :P
Of course, we had to end it with dessert! We initially thought that their waffle is the usual waffle. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. This waffle tastes more like scones, or thick bread. Wasn't what we expected and was a little disappointed. But that being said, the strawberry sauce was pretty rich, so i guess a thicker bread wouldn't have made the food feel overpowering even after a few mouths.

And... Selfie time in the pretty nice toilet. Hahaha

Went for more shopping also at this place which i cannot remember already, but i couldn't find things that i like. :/

Heading on to our next destination, Dance Soul, for an open class! YAY!!! And saw some cute kitty cakes on the way! Didn't get them since they were really expensive.

Dance Soul is pretty popular, they do a lot of backup dancers for the Taiwanese artistes.

And our instructor is so hot!!! She's so fit and pretty! Ah Bang Lao Shi! And she asked us to do a sexy pose. Hahaha Even said, i don't care what you guys are doing, but I'm going to pose! (jokingly of course)
So... here's our hot stuff pose. HAHA Ah Bang Lao Shi beats us hands down! Totally into it! Her face, body and all! Wahhhhhhh! Happy i got this chance to take an open class overseas. :D

Dinner after and we couldn't decide what to eat. Wanted to sing K while digging in to their buffet, but it seems like the spread wasn't worth it. We decided on a fast food restaurant selling baked rice and pasta. And went for dessert again after at XiMenDing! Finally tried the shaved ice!

Random truck advertisement that i saw. How cute!

And headed back to our apartment for more food, which is... maggie mee! HAHAHA

 That's all!

Need to go to bed before my stomach starts getting hungry again. Or rather, more hungry. Totally craving for steamboat right now! D:
Bye~

Taiwan oh! Of SanYuan - Hello Kitty Cafe - XiMenDing - ShiDa Night Market - Shihlin Night Market

On to Day 3.
Since we had a late night, we got up later for simple food nearby at ATT4FUN before we head on to Hello Kitty Cafe! (YAY!!!!) So yes, we're always ready for a photo even while walking. Hahaha

No idea why it is called this, when it is suppose to be called Sanyuan. Got recommended to try Sanyuan for usual Chinese food, and i googled that the chocolate xiao long bao is a favourite.

Fried salted egg yolk pork ribs, and cabbage. The cabbage was surprisingly delicious for a vegetable. Hahaha
 Xiao Long Bao
Fried Youtiao with squid thingy i think. I can't remember now, it's all too long ago. LOL But they were all very delicious.

Can't remember what bao this was already, probably liu sha bao, but they look so cute. The bread is pretty thick for a bao, maybe because of the "pricks".

And the awesome chocolate xiao long bao. Okay, it is not out of the world delicious, but i do like chocolate and the skin of it kinda goes well with the choc. Just kinda like chocolate bao i guess but since the skin is smooth, the chocolate flows around nicely in your mouth as compared to it getting clumpy and thick.

So, walked around for a bit before going off, and i saw this SUPER CUTE watermelon plushie!!! I kept thinking about whether i should get it or not, but it was the last one, :( and it was a little out of shape at the top so i didn't get it. I really like it a lot!!! :'( Saw a similar watermelon in Hong Kong but i had to win the games to win it, and i was quite upset since those games are tricky and difficult to win. :( Hope Bev can help me to get it when she goes to Taiwan sometime soon!

Started to drizzle while we walked to the train station.

Them funny girls! Was trying to candid photo of them, but it never seem to work! Hahaha
The pretty artistic side of the train stations.

HERE WE ARE! :D Went totally nuts.

It was super crowded.
The entrance filled with people ordering the cakes.
Cute little pink bricks!

Can't stop taking pictures of every single thing and of course, me and kitty! Hehehe :X

Got seats upstairs but we were later shifted downstairs to the sofa.

So cute! Kitty shaped sofa head! :D

This is their toilet, also filled with everything hello kitty.
Gotta selfie with the cute wallpaper with hello kitty all over! :D

Pretty mirrors!

 Hahaha! Silly Ningz face!

Can't remember the names of what we ordered already, but this drink is not bad!

The cheesecake was one of my favourite!

The super rich chocolate tart on the left.

And... Surprised Bev! Happy birthday at cutesy kitty cafe! :D Bet she didn't expect that at all. Hahaha! Most successful one yet!

Headed to XiMenDing night market after that for more shopping! :D XiMenDing is my favourite place to shop out of all the night markets. I also like the other one which i can't remember the name already.
Candid tourist shot. It's a must! :X

Posed with the chicky with Shu while Ningz queued for food. Hehehe :P
Fried chicken and truffle sweet potato i think.

The legendary.

Okay, this isn't good to me. Didn't like the rice and the Lu Rou was more like minced meat. Also, the fried oyster sauce is not my cup of tea.

Went to ShiDa for more! Heard that ShiDa night market is a hot favourite, but it wasn't my kinda style. If you like flowy tops, and smooth material kinda look, this has loads. Usually such material will be too big for me so i can't buy much. There are some pretty cool stuff here also, but out of my range which I'm willing to pay for.

This is a must try as i saw recommended by my friends. It is really good. Kinda like Yong Tau Foo, with their sauce. Might be too flavourful for those who don't like their food towards the soy or sweet side.

Decided to try this too because of the long queue. But it was cold and probably feels raw in a way although it is cooked. And there's something about chicken food sold in Taiwan, is that they always come with bones. Really made it a hassle to eat.

Got a drink from 7-11. Some weird flavour. Hahaha Think it was malt or something.

Decided to go over to Shihlin for more shopping because ShiDa wasn't really our thing and we might be wasting time for some of us. Shared fried chicken with Ningz because we love it! Also, finally tried the Fried squid at Shihlin, it was okay but my jaws ache after awhile, too chewy for me. Hahaha. The fried mushrooms were good, filled with all kinds of mushroom. But the down side is, i don't like all sorts of mushrooms, especially those with thick stems. :/

Bought just one stick of bacon wrap thingy with mushroom and some vegetable. Was so so as well.

And after all that eating, that concludes day 3.

And... I need to work later on. Time for bed. Goodnight!
Bye~
